Senior Data Analyst (Remote work-Spain)

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to join an international data and analytics initiative.

The selected candidate will play a key role in the design, development, and evolution of Power BI solutions across the organization, supporting business stakeholders with high quality data models, reports, and insights. This role requires a combination of strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in complex enterprise environments.

This is a hands-on role for someone with solid experience in Power BI, data modeling, and SQL, who can translate business needs into scalable and governed analytics solutions. Remote work only for Spain Residents

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for different business domains
• Define and implement robust data models following Power BI best practices (star schema, performance optimization)
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from multiple data sources
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear analytical and reporting solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across Power BI datasets and reports
• Optimize Power BI solutions using DAX, performance tuning, and efficient data modeling techniques
• Support the standardization of Power BI development best practices, documentation, and governance
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and IT teams in an international environment
• Review existing dashboards and data models, identifying improvement and optimization opportunities
• Document data models, KPIs, measures, and reporting logic
• Support decision-making by providing actionable insights derived from data analysis
