Senior Application Operations Engineer

Infoser New Technologies is looking for a Senior Application Operations Engineer to join a Cloud Application Operations service focused on the stability, continuity, and performance of business‑critical production applications.
This role is part of a dedicated production operations team and combines hands‑on technical support with operational coordination across cloud, platform, and application domains. It requires strong ownership, technical depth, and close collaboration with infrastructure, platform, and business stakeholders.
Requisitos mínimos
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line operational support for business‑critical production applications
- Perform incident intake, technical triage, diagnosis, and coordination through service restoration
- Monitor application availability, performance, and overall health
- Coordinate escalations with infrastructure, API, streaming, and DevOps teams
- Support major incident resolution and ensure timely stakeholder communication
- Validate production changes, including impact analysis, smoke testing, and rollback support
- Track recurring incidents and contribute to problem management and corrective actions
- Participate in release coordination and cross‑team operational planning
- Maintain operational documentation, known issues, and service knowledge
- Contribute to KPI reporting, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Technical Requirements
- Strong experience in production application support and cloud application operations
- Proven incident management experience in business‑critical environments (ITIL‑aligned)
- Solid knowledge of cloud production environments (GCP and AWS)
- Hands‑on troubleshooting of cloud‑hosted and distributed applications
- Experience coordinating with platform teams across infrastructure, APIs, messaging, and CI/CD
- Experience with ITSM tools such as Jira Service Management
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD processes, and Terraform‑based environments
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Azure Monitor, GCP Monitoring, CloudWatch)
- Exposure to API‑based architectures and Kafka or streaming ecosystems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
